Dogs, Dogs, Dogs, and even……….. MORE Dogs!

Who else can you call your best friend, therapist, babysitter, exercise partner, and anything else you can name? But they never actually reveal your thoughts!! Ha! Dogs!

They are always selflessly waiting for you. With no judgement…no agenda…just all love for you. No matter what you have felt like or endured through your day. They are there wagging their tails!

A reminder to fill their bowl and walk them. Always bringing us home. 

Some would call this unconditional love…. And, I would have to agree. 

I was born and raised in Arlington, TX. Growing up we always had dogs. Between my house and my best friends there were dogs of all kinds. Bird dogs we would chase around the pond, labs that would swim in the pool with us. Even cute corgis who mainly hung out in the house…dogs have always been a massive part of my life!

For this I am forever thankful.

Migrating up to the Tualatin area here in the Spring of 2017.

My degree in Horticulture was just accomplished, however dogs were more a part of life than ever before. 

My Wife Heather van Leeuwen and I developed Pooches Pals Mobile Dog Training. From open doggy daycare to boarding dogs in Texas off of Rover while I finished my degree online. To running our own warehouse together. Training any and all wonderful dogs and building a unique and new groove in the world of canine companionship. 

Obedience, off-leash training, reactivity, dog and human aggression. Taking Heather’s obedience world, and my hunting world. Combining them into a retro active process that makes sense for anyone's recreational dog relationship. 

We worked with rescues, and breeders and pinned our training on always creating a stronger bond and relationship between human and dog. We traveled with 5-7 dogs also training in Texas and exploring with all paws to the ground!

As life occurs so does change and we are now separated with love. I take our strong and wonderful growth in dog training and life into my own company name. Along with our daughters that blossom with our worlds still coalescing into happy bonds and relationships. 

Dogs never want anything but to be the best version of themselves. Much like we strive for ourselves.

 It is our teachings along with understanding who they are that gives us such a beautiful and unique relationship.
